The Jackson Hole Perinatal Advocacy Project made a presentation at St. John's Medical Center's Lite Lunch series on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. The presentation was attended by a diverse crowd of close to thirty new and expecting moms and dads, doulas, nurses, counselors, childcare providers and interested members of the public. The Motherisk Program at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada provides evidence-based information and guidance about the safety or risk to the developing fetus or infant, of maternal exposure to drugs, chemicals, diseases, radiation and environmental agents.

Their mandate is to provide authoritative information and guidance to pregnant or lactating patients and their health care providers regarding the fetal risks associated with drug, chemical, infection, disease and radiation exposure(s) during pregnancy.
